JaRi Corporation was incorporated in September 1949 and is the original name for what later became Amway Corporation. The name is a contraction of the names of it's founders, Jay Van Andel and Rich DeVos. Originally a distributorship with California Vitamin Company and later Nutrilite, JaRi Corporation is also the initial upline of all Amway lines of sponsorship. The business reportedly consists of at least ten legs, including the following.

Leg 1

At the start of leg 1 is Emerald Walter Bass (This business was later sold to Skip & Susan Ross). The leg includes well known North American businesses such as Fred & Bernice Hansen, Joe & Helene Victor, Jere Dutt, Charlie & Elsie Marsh, Dexter & Birdie Yager and Bill Britt

Leg 2

Leg 2 reportedly began with a distributor by the name of Jordan, who sponsored a Diamond by the name of Stonelake who had 3 legs that went on to develop significant businesses. The first included Crown Ambassadors John & Pat Hendrickson, the second included Crown Directs Wayne & Kay Beaird who sponsored Crown Ambassadors Dallas & Bett Beaird. Dallas & Bett Beairds business includes Crown Ambassadors Jim & Nancy Dornan, Crowns Dave & Carol Kendall, Crowns Dennis & Kay Beecher, Crowns Howard & Faye Vaughn and Amway Australias first Crowns, David & Nadia Comyns

Leg 3

Leg 3 began with the Delisle family, including Crown Ambassadors Frank & Rita Delisle, and their son's Triple Diamonds Dennis & Sharon Delisle and Double Diamonds Frank Jr & Barbara Delisle

Leg 4

This began with Diamond Annette Woods who sponsored Crown Ambassadors Chuck & Jean Strehli. The Strehli business includes Crown Ambassadors Jerry & Sharon Webb and a Crown Ambassador partnership of McCoy/Burchfield

Leg 5

Leg 5 includes Crowns Stan & Ruth Evans and Diamond Paul Freehling

Leg 6

This grew from Diamonds Dusty & Betty Owens and includes Crown Directs Bob & Terry Andrews and their downline Diamonds Ray & Karla Keller

Leg 7

This group includes Triple Diamonds Peter & Barbara Matz.

Leg 8

This leg starts with Diamond Roland Diehl and includes Diamonds Clayton & Charlotte Overton.

Leg 9

The first Diamonds in this leg were Charles & Jeanette Crecelius who reportedly at one stage were involved with Amway Australia. Australian Double Diamonds Brice and Ruth Douglas are in this leg. Downline of the Douglas's are Malaysian Triple Diamonds Gerald & Angela DeSilva. The DeSilva's group includes three times Crown Ambassadors Foo Howe Kean & Shu Chen, founder of Crador

Leg 10

Leg 10 is a large leg beginning with Diamond Evangeline Krause and includes Crowns Sterling, Van, Roger & Ruth Krause as well as Canadian Crowns Gordon & Elsie Ross, the first Crown Ambassadors Dick & Sandee Marks, Canadian Crown Werner Gomeringer, Crown Ambassadors Jim & Sharon Janz as well as Diamonds Gillerstrom and Double Diamonds Jake & Helene Funk

Other Diamonds believed to have moved to Amway from Nutrilite include Les Chaplin, Vince & Alice Gaffey, Wes Hursch, Herb & Val Nichols, George & Eleanor Teitsma, Robert and Jaqueline Zeender Eleanor
