wondering how to handle founders and non-founders. A separate category for each? So both Founders Crown Ambassadors and Crown Ambassadors? Or handle them all under Crown Ambassador? Which means also listing them separately on the front page. I'm tending towards that solution as IMO Founders should be highlighted. --IBOFightback 08:31, 26 September 2007 (CDT)

As there are more variations (Founders, 100Plus, 200Plus, Ultimate, Double) I'd prefer to merge them all under the Crown Ambassador category. After all, Crown Ambassador had been a top recognition for almost 25 years. Also, there was a period when Crown Ambassador required more qualified legs (25) compared to today's criteria. I think it would be useful to have a brief history of this pin on the page, followed by list of Crown Ambassadors and above--SP75 15:04, 26 September 2007 (CDT)
I think perhaps we go with multiple categories. So all CA and above get catagorized as CA, but also as Founder's CA, FAA45 etc. What about Founders Triple/EDC/Diamond etc? --IBOFightback 16:15, 26 September 2007 (CDT)

files

still learning the ways of wiki. Do you get a "toolbox" including an "upload file" link on the left? --IBOFightback 15:09, 23 October 2007 (CDT)

Yeah, I finally found it :-) Thanks.--SP75 17:47, 23 October 2007 (CDT)

Foo

Foo's upline Diamonds are Gerald & Angela De Silva. From what I can gather they are downline of Australian Diamonds Brice and Ruth Douglas and the Douglas's are apparently in leg 9, Crecelius, of JaRi. Have you any knowledge of this?--IBOFightback 16:19, 18 November 2007 (CST)

Hi, I am afraid that there will be problem with tracking the lines of sponsorship of Asian CAs because of possible differences in Sponsor vs. International Sponsor. As far as Foo is concerned, I only know his upline is Triple Diamond Gerald & Angela DeSilva.--SP75 16:30, 18 November 2007 (CST)

Gerald & Angela De Silva's upline is diamond direct Alfred Hendroff(foster Sponsor), international sponsor is an australian.

Amagrams

Do you happen to have any Australian Amagrams, esp. from 2005/2006? One article on the Oz amway site said there were 8 new Diamonds in that time, but I think only have 4 or 5 listed here. They were available as PDFs but were unfortunately on a PC of mine that got stolen and are no longer on amway oz site. :-( --IBOFightback 15:38, 22 November 2007 (CST)

Sorry, I don't have them. I only have Because magazines from 2-5/2007 in pdf files.--SP75 18:55, 22 November 2007 (CST)

You're a legend! Great work on the Amway North America Amagram Recognitions! --IBOFightback 01:34, 2 January 2008 (CST)

Schleipfer/Weibel

Maria Schleipfer is in fact sponsored by Hans Weibel and Olga Rehm in 1981. I have tapes from both 1981 to 1984. Its a fact!!

Here is the LOS map of Emeralds and Diamonds of Founders Crown Ambassador Mueller-Meerkatz, Peter & Eva. It is a bit old, but it clearly says, where Maria Schleipfer is sponsored.
http://mmwwd.de/ibofrm/unsere2.html

Yes, this is a little fault in the Diagram. believe me, its Hans and Olga. Hans was 22 and Olga 21 when they sponsored Maria in February 1981. One year later (August 1982) Hans and Olga become the youngest Diamond in Amway! Maria made Diamond the same month (in just 18 months - The fastest ever in Germany after Muller-Meerkatz, Peter & Eva themselfs)!

It's hard for me to believe that Founders Crown Ambassador doesn't know his downline Diamonds... Do you have Amagram recognition where Schleipfer - Weibel relationship would be mentioned. The tapes are little bit confusing, because they usually mention LOA cooperation. Anyway, do you know what happened to the Japanese FY 1998 CA qualifiers Shizunori & Mieko Yamamoto?

Building the business I guess

MasterMind, you're 100% of this or just 95% certain? If 100% certain I vote we go with your claim, otherwise we go with the diagram. --IBOFightback 17:38, 12 January 2008 (CST)

Thanks. Yes its 100%

Crown Ambassadors Shizunori & Mieko Yamamoto

Regarding the Crown Ambassadors Shizunori & Mieko Yamamoto: they have been recognized in the Japanese Amagrams as CAs, BUT: from 2000, I cannot find them in ANY of the Amagrams AND even they are NOT listed among FAA qualifiers - the FAA qualifiers include Diamonds and above with 8+ FAA points. I find it very hard to believe, that a Crown Ambassador would not achieve 8+ FAA points. This is very strange... Also, one article in 6/2000 issue of Amagram lists all Crown Ambassadors and they are not among them...

A 1993 book about Amway, The Direct Selling Revolution, includes a quote from the then marketing manner of Japan, Richard Johnson. He mentions that they had recently "got rid of some people who were behaving badly". Perhaps this is the answer? --IBOFightback 17:54, 12 January 2008 (CST)
ps don't forget to sign comments! :-) --IBOFightback 17:55, 12 January 2008 (CST)
if it's a 1993 book, then they wouldn't be recognized in 1998 as CAs. I assume they could have (1) sold their business or (2) died.--SP75 17:58, 12 January 2008 (CST)

QBI

These awards are for just one month, so I'm guessing this is an update rather than a replacement. Some interesting info there - for example the fact Beverly Sallee is her own Crown-ship, not in anyway connected to Leif Johnson, and some updates to pins. Guess we have some work to do! :-) --IBOFightback 19:48, 28 April 2008 (CDT)

Yes, I have noticed that too.--SP75 00:56, 29 April 2008 (CDT)

This is because I saw u keep showing Taiwan's amagram, so i thought u r chinese~~--Lee sy85 09:34, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

Templates

Hi there. I see you're quite vigilant in deleting spammers on the site - excellent! However, rather than me replacing the text in an article with "MARKED FOR DELETION" I wonder if there's a template I could use instead, like I'm used to from Wikipedia? If there isn't... is that a conscious choice, or simply another item on the to-do list? Cheers, Medic 23:37, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

Hi, you have to talk to IBOFightback who runs this site. He gave me the rights that allow me to delete the spammers. Best regards, --SP75 08:20, 25 May 2009 (UTC)

uploads

I think I've finally fixed the upload problem. A weird permissions issue with temporary directories. --IBOFightback 20:02, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

How to view Amagrams in Amway Wiki??

Hello I am Jsooi0110. You did send me two links in Malaysia Amway Wiki for the Amagrams. I would like to view more but I couldn't click and view it. Can you please teach me how to do it? Thanks - Jsooi0110

Hi, there are no other Malaysian Amagrams uploaded to Amway Wiki. I have a collection of printed Amagrams from many countries including some Malaysian Amagrams, but unfortunately I don't have them in pdf. Regarding the two issues, I scanned them into pdf, but doing so for all the Amagrams I have would be very time consuming. Do you want any particular information?--SP75 12:30, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
I see. It's great that you could help on it but of cause I dare not to cause u too much time on doing it. I just would like to see some of it only.
1) Diamond Young Yeong Leong & Siow Lan ( 1996 )
2) Diamond Francis & Agnes Liew ( 1998 )
3) Double Diamond Anisah & Hamid ( 1998 )
4) Double Diamond Tajuin & Nun ( 1998 )
5) Executive Diamond Lee Ah Peng & Angeline Chee ( 1998 )
6) Crown Ambassador Chan Lee Sean ( 2002 )
Is it too many? if yes please let me know. I just hoping to have these to fulfill my curiousity on their successful stories. However thanks a lot at first :) - Jsooi0110
OK, I will upload them to Amway Wiki later today. Please, be patient. Re Anisah & Hamid: they were recognized as EDC in June 1998 issue, not as Double Diamonds. I do not have their Double Diamond recognition, so I will upload the 1998 Amagram.--SP75 04:10, 23 November 2010 (UTC)
Thousand thanks for ur kindness! :) - Jsooi0110
Here they are:
1) Diamond Young Yeong Leong & Siow Lan - Amagram November 1996
2) Diamond Francis & Agnes Liew - Amagram December 1998
3) Executive Diamond Anisah & Hamid - Amagram June 1998
4) Double Diamond Tajuin & Nun - Amagram February 1998

antispam

installed some antispam extensions. New account creation and edits including external links now have to pass a captcha test. Let's hope that stops them! --IBOFightback 14:13, 5 May 2011 (IST)

Thanks! Hope it'll work. My forefinger got tired. :-) --SP75 14:28, 5 May 2011 (IST)
Guess we will need to run new users through the knowledge test about Amway instead of simple captcha test. ;-) --SP75 12:43, 6 May 2011 (IST)
Yeah, done some more tweaking. Looks much better today. --IBOFightback 01:20, 10 May 2011 (IST)

Your antispam stop me how I can create new page for new Diamnod? I tried answer control question but without succes. --Dusyk 11:31, 25 October 2011 (EEST)

OK I finaly found right answer for question :) --Dusyk 11:36, 25 October 2011 (EEST)

Stonelake

Many years ago Amway forwarded mail to Diamonds I had questions for. All responded. Many were very helpful. A couple complained to Amway that they thought my request for their LOS was an attempt to steal their down-line. I don't think Amway forwards mail any more. You might try, though. Jan Woods, who is now in my up-line, (I changed lines four times between 1970 and 1980) was very helpful. Regarding Stonelake: I have an old Amway tape stored away in a box in the attic that tells of his LOS and gives a lot of interesting details. I just posted a correction to "Waters". The info came from the Dutts. If you are interested, I have done exaustive LOS searches through the Amagram and questioning guest speakers.

Unofficial pin levels

I put all the pin levels in an easy to ready section instead of searching for each particular pin level, but thanks for deleting my hard work. I spent a lot of time on it and you could of least moved the thread instead of deleting it in all.

I just won't update anything else...

Can someone explain what's happened? Haven't been able to work it out from the basic logs ...--IBOFightback (talk) 21:14, 7 March 2014 (GMT)
Hi, I deleted the page "Unofficial Pin Levels". First, it listed all the OFFICIAL pin levels and their qualification criteria for US market only (using top performance level of 25%). We already have pages for particular pins so I deleted the page. Not a big deal. We can bring it back, but certainly not under the original name Unofficial pin levels, and I would suggest to use terms such as "maximum performance bonus level" or so instead of specifying the percentages which vary from market to market.--SP75 (talk) 10:17, 9 March 2014 (GMT)
I Just spent a lot of time making this "Official Pin Levels" page but apparently it should not have gone under the "Unofficial Pin Levels" page. I didn't understand why he deleted all the work instead of just moving the page to a different page. I was just trying to help. I don't even understand what unofficial pin levels means. Is this for someone to put something in there are not sure of? Or other than the US Market?--ryantpayton (talk) 22:42, 9 March 2014 (GMT)
Hi, sorry for the misunderstanding. I didn't mean to offend you. The page is back and you can make appropriate corrections so that the page would reflect not only NA pin qualification criteria but also those for the rest of the world. Re unofficial levels - these are levels that were created for certain distributors for their achievements, but they are not part of the official bonus system. These levels are: 100 Plus/200 Plus Crown Ambassador, Ultimate Crown Ambassador and Double Crown Ambassador. Amway does not recognize these levels officially and you will find no reference of these levels in their offical "hall of achievement" in Ada, Michigan.--SP75 (talk) 21:11, 10 March 2014 (GMT)
OK, nice page Ryan, but yeah, it's got North American levels and definitions, so just a small part of the Amway world! Would be nice to incorporate it in to some kind of introductory page for people though. --IBOFightback (talk) 08:45, 11 March 2014 (GMT)

Person Template

lol! I'm trying to hack some old code to get it working with google responsive ads, and weird things keep happening. Now I see why from the history! :) --IBOFightback (talk) 16:55, 13 January 2016 (FET)

And I was wondering why the template was broken and tried to fix it without looking at Recent changes. :-D --SP75 (talk) 16:59, 13 January 2016 (FET)
I've removed the adcode completely and taken my playing to a sandbox :) --IBOFightback (talk) 17:00, 13 January 2016 (FET)
Hmmm, but the template remained broken. Any idea why?--SP75 (talk) 17:04, 13 January 2016 (FET)
Resolved. :-)--SP75 (talk) 17:08, 13 January 2016 (FET)
