This is strange. In one documentary, there is a shot of the list of original members of The American Way Association and Eleanor is listed there as Eleanor Tietsma.--SP75 13:34, 14 November 2007 (CST)
Also, on the QBlog under the post named "Jody Victor and Deb" there is a discussion where Deb said: "I have a picture of the first ADA Board - and there were 3 women on it. One of them was a dear friend of ours named Eleanor Tietsma". Deb spelled Eleanor's surname as Tietsma TWO times - here and in another discussion. I suppose there is an error there on lifestorynet.--SP75 13:47, 14 November 2007 (CST)

- O.K. I give up :-) I just went through some old Amagrams, June 1973 edition says:
- "Walter Bass and Eleanor Teitsma continue as Executive Director and Treasurer, respectively." Also, Amagram from November 1979 has a list of all 1979 Amway Travel seminar qualifiers and Eleanor is listed as TEITSMA, INC. (George & Eleanore).
- I don't understand, how the original list of AWA founding members in the movie could include an error. Maybe it was not a shot of the ORIGINAL document? And maybe it was Deb, who didn't know the correct spelling? Who knows?

- Deb checked the local phone book, no Tietsma's but lots of Teitsma, including a George Teitsma. My guess is the Profiles page is a recreation and they misspelled it. --IBOFightback 17:21, 15 November 2007 (CST)
