It is thought that higher risk of diseases that can be correlated with milk consumption, only correlate to the A1 containing milk. This technology of determining the milk type is licensed for each country, and only that license holder may have access to the technology to test the milk to determine if that cow produces A1 or A2 milk. Cows fortuneatly produce only one type for there lifetime. Thus allowing the testing to be a one off.
