While reading some English translations of Japanese Amagrams from 1999, I noticed one name which I cannot find now anywhere. The article said that in FY1998 there had been new Crown Ambassador DDs named Shizunori & Mieko Yamamoto. They were listed in 2 Amagrams as Crown Ambassadors, so I doubt there is a mistake in the translation.

The first article from 2/1999 Amagram says: "Shizunori & Mieko Yamamoto received on stage their recognition certification for achieving Crown Ambassador DD status." Amagram from 3/1999 says: "(Pages 4 ~ 7) QUALITY OF LIFE: LIFESTYLES OF TOP DISTRIBUTORS The Value of a Person's Work is Expressed in His/Her Life Style Shizunori & Mieko Yamamoto, Crown Ambassador DD It has been 12 years since they signed up, and last year, Mr. & Mrs. Yamamoto finally achieved Crown Ambassador DD status. People around them always say that they seem to get younger every time they reach a new pin level. They smiled in agreement at each other as they looked through an old photo album. Their secret behind this was revealed for the first time during this month's interview. We delved deeply into their thoughts on their life style and secret for retaining their youthfulness."

The strange thing is, that 6/2000 issue of Amagram lists Crown Ambassador DDs as follows:

Introducing Their Favorites: Kaoru Nakajima, Double Crown Ambassador DD Shuji and Tomoko Hamamoto, Founders Crown Ambassador DD Takumi and Rieko Yamazaki, Founders Crown Ambassador DD E.H. Eric and Midori Ito, Crown Ambassador DD Tatsuo and Atsuko Hayashi, Crown Ambassador DD Ryusuke and Irene Seto, Crown Ambassador DD Nanae and Seisuke Arima, Crown Ambassador DD Morihiko and Seiko Kitakon, Crown Ambassador DD Hidekazu and Yuki Kajihara, Crown Ambassador DD Yoshiyuki Yamazaki, Crown Ambassador DD Toshiaki and Tomoko Takahashi, Crown Ambassador DD

  • Among all Crown Ambassador DDs, Takeshi and Hidemi Azumi were not available for this

project due to conflicting schedules.

I assume the last sentence means, that this is a complete list of CAs in Japan. Now, does anybody know, what happened to Shizunori & Mieko Yamamoto?
