There are 2 ways that you can expand your Amway business internationally, i.e. through International Sponsoring and Multiple Business / No. 2 business.

International Sponsoring

What is International Sponsoring?

International Sponsoring means that you may sponsor your friends or relatives of another country where Amway has already established operations.

How do I sponsor?

You may first contact them either by phone, letter, e-mail, fax or personal visit and explain to them the basic Amway Sales & Marketing plan.

What should I do next if my prospects are interested in the business?

In order for your prospects to sign up, your prospects must be foster sponsored by a local Amway Distributor who is known as a Foster Sponsor. You may work with your Line of Sponsorship for contact of a Foster Sponsor. Alternatively, you may advise your prospects to contact the local Amway office for the assignment of Foster Sponsors.

Can I just send details of my prospects to the local office and ask them to contact my prospects?

It is important that the prospects must contact the office personally. This will indicate their genuine interest in learning more about the Amway business.

Who supplies the application form and starter kit?

Literature and starter kits that have been specially designed for each market are obtained through the Foster Sponsor. Sending materials, literature or products of your own country is in violation of the Amway Rules of Conduct and can result in fines, imprisonment and confiscation of the items.

How do I make certain that I will receive credit as the International Sponsor?

You must advise your prospects to fill in your particulars such as your name and ADA no. in their application form under the column for International Sponsor.

How do I provide training and assistance to my Internationally Sponsored Distributors?

The Foster Sponsor is responsible for training, motivating and supplying your new Distributors with products.

Does it mean my responsibility as International Sponsor ends once my prospect sign up?

As an International Sponsor, you will need to maintain regular communication with your new Distributors to find out their progress and also to encourage and motivate them as necessary.

Can I retail products in another Amway authorised country?

No. You are only an authorised Amway Distributor in your own country.Therefore you are not allowed to do retailing. You may only internationally sponsor prospects.

Multiple Business or No. 2 Business

What is a Multiple Business or a No.2 Business?

A No. 2 business means that you apply as an authorised Amway Distributor again in another Amway authorised country by signing a new Application Form.

Can I sign up a no. 2 business in any of the Amway authorised countries?

The acceptance of your application depends on the legal requirements in the country concerned. You should contact the local Amway office to become familiar with local requirements.

If I meet the requirements to operate another business in that country, what should I do next?

Your No.2 business must be foster sponsored by a local Foster Sponsor. You may work with your Line of Sponsorship or contact the local office for the assignment of Foster Sponsor. You will be supplied with a Starter Kit and Application Form. Indicate your Distributorship details in the Multiple Distributorship column of the SA88 Application Form.

Can I put another Distributorship's details instead of my own Distributorship?

No. Your original Distributorship SHALL be the International Sponsor of your new Distributorship.

Benefits As International Sponsor

As an International Sponsor, you will receive the following benefits:

   * When your new Distributor qualifies at the maximum Performance Bonus level, you may qualify to receive the International Leadership Bonus (ILB). 
   * You can count your qualified international group towards your qualification for Emerald, Diamond and above if you are an Emerald bonus recipient, for pin awards and invitations to higher achievement functions. 
   * You can count your qualified international group towards Emerald and Diamond bonuses ONLY if you have qualified as an Emerald or Diamond bonus recipient in your own market. Amway pays Emerald and Diamond bonuses on international volume twice, once in the Foster Sponsor's country and once in the International Sponsor's country. 
   * Your qualified international group will count towards your one-time Double Diamond, Triple Diamond, Crown and Crown Ambassador cash award.

Benefits As Foster Sponsor

As a Foster Sponsor, you will receive the following benefits:

   * You will receive credit for all the PV and BV generated by the new Distributor and his group until he reaches the maximum performance bonus level.             
   * When your new Distributor qualifies at the maximum performance bonus level, you may be entitled to receive the Foster Leadership Bonus (FLB), provided you are also at the maximum performance bonus level.            
   * You may count your qualified foster group towards your qualification for all Sapphire and above awards and rewards.     
   * You may count your qualified foster group towards your DD qualification but you do not receive 21% performance bonus unless you have achieved the maximum level yourself. When your foster Distributor reaches 21% performance bonus, your performance bonus would start from 0%. However, in new markets beginning in the Philippines, 21% performance bonus is paid to the foster sponsor of a qualified group.
   * You will receive ALS points on the PV generated by your foster group for Leadership Seminar qualification. 
   * You will also receive Leadership Seminar point count on FULL 4% Leadership Bonus generated by your foster 21% group.
