In 1998 there was no Founders Crown Ambassador 40 level. There was only a Founders Distinguished Service Award for achieving 40 FAA points. As Yager, Dexter & Birdie achieved 45 FAA, the Corporation added that level in response. Later they added 50 FAA Credits as the Yager, Dexter & Birdie and Kaoru Nakajima achieved it, and then 55 FAA Credits. That was all before the Founders Crown Ambassador 40+ pin series was even introduced in the US. The levels were recognized as 45 FAA Credits, 50 FAA Credits and 55 FAA Credits.
