"God did the healing and one day we heard the song."

Dane and Nancy Morton met in college and married after graduation. Like his three brothers, Dane was already an entrepreneur; their father, who died when Dane was 15, had urged his sons to go into business for themselves and they did just that, starting with paper routes, a boat cleaning business and by the time Dane entered college, a retail store. Dane ran the store and Nancy became a professional model, both looking for an income source that would allow them to start a family, with Nancy as a full-time mom. They launched their business and it grew until they were able to give it all their time. They had a beautiful baby daughter, Julie, and their dream had come true. They were full-time parents! But a few years later the dream was shattered. Julie was diagnosed with cancer and died shortly after her fourth birthday. Nancy says she didn't know if they could ever dream again. "Our dreams died with her. Dane and I had loved every moment with our little girl, and the loss was overwhelming. Then Nancy Dornan told us that one day we would look out the window and see a little bird, and on that day we would hear its song and our hearts would be lighter. God did the healing and one day we heard the song. From then on we lived with the paraphrase from the Psalms before us: 'My job is to take care of the possible and trust God with the impossible.' We did and He did! We're blessed and proud to be IBO's and a part of Network TwentyOne."
