""Being married to Pamela makes everything else pale by comparison."
Ben and Pamela Cooper have both enjoyed enduring careers in an industry noted for instability, and by building a successful business of their own. Ben's career began at age eight, when he went on Broadway in Life with Father. Pamela started a professional music career at age 16, and she and Ben met in Hollywood on the set of Wagon Train. She traveled 10 years with the famed Ray Conniff Singers. Ben is a skilled horseman and a renowned fast draw expert. He died young, many times. "I was shot in Arizona, dragged through cactus, killed in Colorado and hung in California. I always say that our business may not look glamorous but it's safer than movies!" He has been on 3200 radio shows, 250 live TV shows, 300 filmed TV shows, and in 30 movies and dozens of commercials. "But being married to Pamela makes everything else pale by comparison," says the actor with a grin, without prompting. His speaking engagements have taken him from Europe to China, where thousands of his through-line associates are developing businesses of their own.
