I think Jere & Eileen started to build their business alone, later they added their son forming a partnership and then they went Crown as a family. I will try to find their Crown recognition in the Amagram and verify it.--[[User:SP75|SP75]] 07:28, 23 October 2007 (CDT)

Well, I have found an Amagram from November 1979 where Jere & Eileen Dutt / Jere (Jody) & Gina Dutt were recognized as new Crown Directs and it says:
"Jody was just two years old when his father started with Nutrilite, but he was encouraged to try other things as he grew up. When he and Gina decided in 1969 to start an Amway business, Jere insisted that they buy their own kit and begin building from the bottom up.
"Jody grumbled a little about that," Jere adds. "He wanted to start as a manager! But I wanted him to really learn the business, so he got busy and did it."
Several years ago, Eileen became ill, and Jere devoted two full years to her care. Jody and Gina stepped in to handle the senior Dutts' business in addition to their own, and that was their beginning of the partnership.--SP75 18:04, 23 October 2007 (CDT)
