Scott and MJ started their Amway business in 1971 taking seven years to reach Platinum and achieved Diamond in 1981 and Double Diamond in 1999.
Scott grew up beside the Sandusky River (Ohio) and attended Bowling Green State University on the G.I. Bill. He had signed up for the military at age 17. He met Mary Jane (MJ) at Bowling Green and they started their business three months before they were married. Scott and MJ have two children Marcy and Scotty who are both have their own business with Amway Global.
