Philanthropy

On October 20, 1989, the Amway Nature Centre (ANC) was established by Amway Japan in order to work together with its distributors in making an ongoing contribution to the solution of environmental problems and Amway Japan also has established the Amway Nature School. This organisation was created to aid in the consideration of environmental problems on a day-to-day level. One of the most successful events organised by the school has been a series of comprehensive lectures on maintaining an environmentally friendly garden at home. So far, more than 4,300 people have attended the lectures. In total, with the help of Amway Japan's IBOs, the affiliate has raised more than US$6 million for nature conservation.[1]
