Philanthropy
MOBILE DENTAL CLINIC

Amway donated a state-of-the-art mobile dental clinic to the Rotary Club, Delhi Mid-town, for the use in slum areas in 1996. Operated by the Rotary Club, this clinic offers free dental check up and care six days a week, 52 weeks a year, to the underprivileged in and around Delhi.

ENDOWMENT TO THE FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI

Amway made a significant endowment to the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) Delhi University, in 1998. This led to the creation of the Amway Chair on Entrepreneurial Development at the FMS. This endowment had been made with the intention of encouraging entrepreneurial study.

BLIND

The Amway Opportunity Foundation (AOF) started working with the Blind in 1998, when it entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Delhi-based All India Confederation for the Blind (AICB). According to this MoU, AICB was to first ascertain the requirement of Braille textbooks for blind children studying in Rajasthan, and then print and distribute these Braille textbooks. This MoU which was to serve as the blue print for all subsequent work undertaken by AOF.

AICB has a Braille printing press at their premises at Rohini, a suburb of Delhi. According to the AICB, a Braille book costs seven to ten times more than a normal book. Apparently, there are 16 Braille printing press in India, about half of which are not in proper working condition.

More importantly of the 2 million blind children in India, only between six and eight per cent have access to Braille textbooks. This was the single-most important factor in deciding the direction of social responsibility undertaken by AOF: while prevention and cure for blindness is an integral part of the country's development plans, education for the blind, unfortunately, has taken back seat.

After Rajasthan, the AOF-AICB combine turned its sights on Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and now, Bihar.

In September 2000, AOF entered into another strategic partnership with the National Association for the Blind, India (NAB), a mumbai-based NGO. Both AICB and NAB are NGOs of national eminence. With the NAB, AOF has been able to ensure that blind children in Maharashtra and Gujarat have access to Braille textbooks. While AICB is to look after states in the north and the east, NAB is to concentrate on the west and the south.
If all the Braille pages printed by AOF, are joined, end-to-end, we reckon that a distance of close to 2,000 kms can be covered!

AOF plans to re-visit each state once in three years. Why? Because a Braille textbook has a three-year life span, after which it becomes unusable. Once a cycle is established, this will be maintained on a regular basis.

WHITE CANE DAY AND LOUIS BRAILLE DAY

Since 1998, AOF has also been active in some other activities for the blind. AOF has, along with AICB, celebrated White Cane Day (October 15th) and Louis Braille day (January 4th).

On White Cane Day, AOF supports AICB distribute white canes to blind children.

On Louis Braille Day - held annually to commemorate the birthday of Louis Braille, the inventor of the Braille system - AOF supports AICB in conducting a unique event: the National Braille reading contest. Here, preliminary rounds are held on a regional basis. The winners from all different states are then brought to Delhi where the nationals are held.

AOF AND CHILD RELIEF AND YOU (CRY)

The January 26th killer-quake that rocked Gujarat in 2001 devastated almost the entire state. Tens of thousand lost their lives, uncounted others lost their homes. A whole slew of aid-agencies rushed into the beleaguered state, offering first aid, medicine, food, blankets etc.

After sifting through a host of possible partners through whom Amway could channel its relief money, AOF proposed that CRY as a preferred partner. CRY is another well-known NGO that has an impeccable track record. As in most emergencies, it is the children who are often the worst affected, AOF took a conscious decision to channelise Rs. 35 lacs that Amway distributors, employees and Awmay as a company, had collected.

An AOF representative traveled some 800 kms in the worst affected areas of Anjar (Bhuj) and Dhrol (Jamnagar) in areas where not even one building remained unaffected. With the funds Amway had sent them, CRY runs activity centres for children in the following villages in these two areas -

* Rambav Rapar
* Kuda Jampar Rapar
* Kakavav Bhachau
* Nilper Bhachau
* Meghpar Bhachau
* Saran Vandh Rapar
* Trambau Rapar
* Vanoi Rapar
* Suvai Rapar
* Gauripar Rapar
* Naranpar Rapa

NANHE CHITRAKAAR

AOF has, in the past three years, held two painting contests for children of the Amway family. These contests take place in some 20 cities, where children of distributors, employees and other service partners participate.

With the venue and all other infrastructure taken care of, the children have a field day giving wing to their imagination. All entries (four thousand plus) are sent to Delhi, where a rigorous selection system involving well-known painters and others, is followed.

The first ten paintings then serve as impressions for Seasons Greetings, Congratulations and Thank You cards, which are then sold by Amway distributors. The proceeds of these cards form the bulk of AOFs annual budget. Thus, the Amway distributor is intricately linked to AOFs work, and hence has a significant share in Amway's social responsibility.

* Rambav Rapar
* Kuda Jampar Rapar
* Kakavav Bhachau
* Nilper Bhachau
* Meghpar Bhachau
* Saran Vandh Rapar
* Trambau Rapar
* Vanoi Rapar
* Suvai Rapar
* Gauripar Rapar
* Naranpar Rapa

We are from Dehradun. We have two lovely children Akshat & Vaishnavi. They are the reason for us to build the Amway business. We want to give them the best lifestyle, and we know the AMWAY business is the right vehicle to achieve our dreams. Today our life has completely changed. Our children are happy, we can sleep peacefully. We need not worry about Inflation or recession. Our future is fully secured.
Our philosophy of working the Amway business is this: Work as hard as you can, to you can earn as much as you can, so you can help as many people as you can... and along the way be sure to enjoy the ride to its fullest. It is a phenomenal ride if you do it right. You will be amazed at how much blessing God will pour out on your life if you do this business and do it right.
We did not make excuses regarding lack of time, cost of products and the age of our children. We also never complained that we didn’t have sufficient money for tools and functions. We gave this business our first priority. We thank God for the wisdom to make this decision.
Our advice on building a strong and large organization would be for you to establish your Why! This makes it possible for others to understand where you are going and why they would like to follow you. Then determine the five to seven traits you would like your team leaders to have and develop those traits in yourself. Finally, become organized and always keep your word. If you never make excuses, you don't have to accept any!"
We together believe that this business is God’s answer to our prayers, and only those who have been blessed by Him can see its potential, build it, and grow with it.
We love to travel and thanks to this business we have been to many wonderful places around the world. We have been to Bangkok, Malaysia, Singapore, Star cruise, Bintan (Indonesia), Phuket Med. Cruise (Europe), Switzerland and Australia.
The beauty of this business is that people can increase the value of their lives. People are not remembered for what they did; they are remembered for how they helped other people achieve what they want. That is the reason why we like Amway business so much. It enables you to help others make significant changes in their lives.
The positive association in the business helped us increase our self image. Earlier, we used to think that Amway attracted good people but what we now realize is that Amway brings out the best in the people. The combination of financial and spiritual growth that takes place in this business is not seen anywhere else in the world.
We have been successful in this business due to the guidance of our upline and the team effort of our group. Amway is not only a business of making money but also a business of making life worthwhile for living. It is our dream to help as many people as possible to reach their goals and to make a difference to millions of lives. Just stay focused, follow your leader, get into the core of the system and help in the upliftment of people. .
This is perhaps the only business which every person in India can use to improve the health of their loved ones through natural products and of society too. Our greatest joy comes from seeing our group succeed and flourish through their efforts in way not possible through any other business. To any person who ever wishes to do anything of real significance in his or her life, we strongly recommend that you try to understand this business can truly bring and all that it has to offer, because, in spite of what some people may say, this business can truly bring about a remarkable improvement in your life in many, many ways.
We now have a mission to help as many families as possible in the world to achieve financial freedom.

I am a Civil Engineer from one of the reputed institutions in India. I was working as an Executive with the Punjab Government when I first came to know about the Opportunity. My wife, Bindu is a Post Graduate in Economics and worked as a Mathematics teacher in a Convent school for a short span after our marriage. My father was a Professor of Mathematics and my mother a homemaker. We have two children. Our son, Himanshu is 18 years old, pursuing his Mechanical Engineering degree and is also an Business Owner daughter Mehak, 15 years, studying in class IX.

We were introduced to this business by my brother-in-law who works in the Merchant Navy as a Chief Engineer. He invited me to accompany him to one of the business meetings. Initially, I was reluctant to go because of my busy schedule. But when he insisted, I made up my mind to join him for the meeting. I came to know about the Business Plan for the first time, but was not able to comprehend much initially. The person who presented the plan was very impressive and made us realize the long term benefits. For a while I mulled over the decision, weighed all the pros and cons. The plan attracted us, as the initial investment was very little, with negligible risk. However, at the beginning I didn’t have complete belief in it. I don’t remember exactly why; but I joined the business on the same day. If today I look back and think, I could have listed one thousand reasons to say ‘NO’ to this business. I could have very easily ignored this business and lost the biggest opportunity of a lifetime. Thank God I didn't! It has made a big difference in my family’s life.

It was not the easiest but definitely the most rewarding decision that I ever took in my life. We achieved financial security, traveled to many places and made investments in real estate. Today we are living in a beautiful house. We have also made wonderful friends through this business opportunity. Apart from all these benefits, we enjoy the `freedom’ that this business has brought us. I left my job within a year of joining and worked full time building it. We learnt more about ourselves in the last 7 years with business, which we might not have learnt throughout our lifespan. This business helped us accomplish our quest for excellence. With each passing day, we continue to be more impressed with the business as it positively impacts the lives of many. We feel that we are privileged to spread the message of love, joy, happiness, peace, and prosperity to all; and this can be attained through this business which brings a package which is unmatched.

It has been a struggle, hard work, enormous learning and a disciplined life. This business can only be built by doing away with complacency. No matter, as some one truly said "Inconvenience is adventure if rightly considered."

* Rambav Rapar
* Kuda Jampar Rapar
* Kakavav Bhachau
* Nilper Bhachau
* Meghpar Bhachau
* Saran Vandh Rapar
* Trambau Rapar
* Vanoi Rapar
* Suvai Rapar
* Gauripar Rapar
* Naranpar Rapa

* Rambav Rapar
* Kuda Jampar Rapar
* Kakavav Bhachau
* Nilper Bhachau
* Meghpar Bhachau
* Saran Vandh Rapar
* Trambau Rapar
* Vanoi Rapar
* Suvai Rapar
* Gauripar Rapar
* Naranpar Rapa

I was born in a small village in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh &
come from lower middle class family. From my childhood I
thought that engineers were rich people and my parents
wanted that I should become an Engineer.
Due to that strong dream, I did my M.Tech from I.I.T.Delhi.
With hard earn degree in hand, I was always thinking of
become a Civil Servant due to some very strong reason but
soon realized that my destiny is not here.
Through my hard work and with the help of my friend, I
opened an educational institute in Dehradun. Through the
team and hard work, I lived a small portion of my dream
while producing Civil Servants from my institute. During
that time, a stranger showed me Amway plan. I was reluctant
in the beginning but after exploring, I joined this
business to make an extra income.
We are thankful to GOD that we took the decision and we
were blessed with a very strong team, I took business very
fast to platinum level. We discovered helping others to
fulfill their dreams in life gives us too much satisfaction
and we feel blessed that Amway has given this chance in
our life.
We are proud of Amway plan and products because it has
given us RESPECT, LOVE & SECURITY.
I got married to Chandra in 2000 and we both build this
business from Platinum to Diamond level whole heartily as
full time. Chandra is post graduate in food and nutrition
from BHU, Varansi. God has blessed us with two sons SAI
GIRDHAR & PRABHAT. Our children are the reason to build
business to greater heights. Decision to Go Diamond was
there for many years but we made it even strong &
worked in a very focused way this year.
This business has given us mind-set to succeed in life &
achieve significance. Traveling abroad was our dream and
Amway has taken us many countries with great hospitality.
Amway is for common people who have uncommon
dreams. We enjoy working with our downline team and
pray for their success & our thankful to our uplines for
their great support. We have taken Amway Business as a
complete package to fulfill all our dreams & desire.
"IN OUR CASE THE BEST IS YET TO COME. WE BELIEVE
THAT WITH GOD EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE IN THIS
WORLD. DON'T REST TILL THE GOAL IS ACHIEVED."

We are thankful to our uplines who made this business possible for us and also for touching our lives. Each day we thank God for blessing us. The strongest desire in our minds, which is also the purpose of our lives, is to help many people to reach Diamond level in the Business and to celebrate their achievement.
Born and brought up in Delhi. My wife born brought up in Ahmedabad. God has blessed us two children, my daughter Komal and son Anand. We all are doing Amway business together. Before we saw this business opportunity ten years back through my college friend Mr. Ajit Denial, I tried ten businesses unsuccessfully. The reason for this was doing what I never wanted to do in business. I was always looking out for something with which I feel comfortable.

I m great full to my friend for showing me this legal in honest business. Not only this, my friend told me the history of this business, but also about Rich Devos and Jay Van Andel the cofounder of the business. I was very much impress by this and had long term view and decided to start this business in the year 1998. I felt that this business has came for me. There were lot of challenges initially to build this business, but because of faith, determination and driving force was so strong that we that we were able to handle all those challenges. We are proud to be part of winning dream team for prodding us right guidance and various tools such as cassettes, cd’s, books and other support materials to build this business, also various seminar & team meetings organized by our great MENTOR EDC going Double Diamond Mr. S.P. & Sandhya Bharill. We were continuing this business till we were founder emeralds, in 2004, it was my biggest shock of my life when I lost my eyes and I was not able to adjust due to number of eye operations without any result. That time I realize there is no point of feeling sorry for this and I decided to continue with same efforts and see the show must go on. I was getting full support from top to the bottom from Amway staff. Not only support but encouragement to move forward for which I am great full, yet another shocking incident happened in December 2007, when I came to know that I have both kidneys and I will be dialysis for rest of my wife. No doubt I lost my vital organ but I never allow this stand in my way to move ahead in this business. I took strong decision in January 2008 to complete diamondship august 2008. I felt sense of urgency to complete my diamondship before next challenges, if any comes to me. Once again I am great full to winning dream team to help me achieving this, also I am great full to lot of leaders who stood by me at the time of crisis of my life and I pray to god to bless of my life them fulfilling their dreams.

* Rambav Rapar
* Kuda Jampar Rapar
* Kakavav Bhachau
* Nilper Bhachau
* Meghpar Bhachau
* Saran Vandh Rapar
* Trambau Rapar
* Vanoi Rapar
* Suvai Rapar
* Gauripar Rapar
* Naranpar Rapa

* Rambav Rapar
* Kuda Jampar Rapar
* Kakavav Bhachau
* Nilper Bhachau
* Meghpar Bhachau
* Saran Vandh Rapar
* Trambau Rapar
* Vanoi Rapar
* Suvai Rapar
* Gauripar Rapar
* Naranpar Rapa
