| − | When Lisa saw the business opportunity at age 20, she was a young, naïve, university student studying business. She did, however have great plans and a clear idea of the way her life was going to map out.

| − | “Yes, I unrealistically thought I would have my own business and be successful.” says Lisa. “I believed I would have children and stay at home and raise them and then travel the world on long holidays to exciting overseas destinations every year.” The business provided Lisa a rather unique opportunity to realise these goals. “The results I imagined are exactly how I live my life today, but it didn’t quite happen in the way I had planned!”

| − | Of course it also didn’t all happen overnight for Lisa. Genuine and consistent effort and focus were required, as was plenty of assistance from her various support team members and personal development through the support system.

| − | Today, although Lisa continues to take an active role in her business, her time is also spent expanding her interests of travel, painting and dabbling in investments to secure her future. Lisa sums up her life balance these days as, “Everything fits in around the kids and the lifestyle as much as possible. This is the way it should be for me – lots of balance! It’s what we’re all striving for in today’s busy world.”

Lisa & Phil Smart started their Amway business in April 1985. They reached the Diamond level in 1991. Phil and Lisa divorced in the late 1990s. Lisa has continued to work her Amway business. She lives in Queensland and is part of the McKenna LOS.
