The counselling upline is a member of an IBOs upline that acts in the role of a mentor for that IBO, mentoring them and holding counselling sessions to share experience and advice.
An IBO who qualifies for a larger pin than their previous counselling upline will often begin working with someone further upline who has broader success and experience.
An IBO that elects to work with a Line of Affiliation (LOA) separate to their Line of Sponsorship (LOS) will often chose someone in that LOA to act in the role a sponsor or counselling upline would normally take.
