In 1985 Forbes Magazine reported that Stonelake's downline had a turnover of approximately $90,000,000 and that he had sold it due to a drop income associated with Amway's US downturn. JaRi Corporation was incorporated in September 1949. The name is a contraction of the names of it's founders, Jay Van Andel and Rich DeVos. Originally a distributorship with California Vitamin Company and later Nutrilite, JaRi Corporation later also became the DeVos and Van Andel's Amway distributorship. Their original Nutrilite sponsor, Neil Maaskant maintained his position as the sponsor of the JaRi Amway distributorship.

JaRi and Amway Sales Corporation later merged to form Amway Corporation, however bonuses are still paid upline to the Maaskant estate, which is reportedly a requalifying Emerald business.
